Remembering...
I can still recall September 11, 2001. I had woke up in my old house about 8:50 (Central) that morning, getting ready for work. My dad had recently bought a huge screen tv of his dreams, and it was playing softly as I staggered into the living room, bleary eyed. At first, I couldn't tell what was going on. As my eyes clearly, the enormity of the situation hit me...and the day was forever marked as that kind of day you remember clearly for the rest of your life.
I don't know personally know anyone that was affected by the attacks...regardless, I know there are people out there hurting from their losses right now, and I want to say that my heart goes out to them.

Heh, my art teachers, both Randall and Barry, think I am very advanced for my level (which is a beginner's class, one of those pre-resiquite deals) and have told me I am quite observant, visually. *hugs herself in happiness* As a result, both are challenging me to reach beyond the class' limitations, to find out what I can do. I've never worked with charcoal before now, and I LOVE IT!!!!!!! So awesome! I wish I could show some of the pics I've done already, but they are on a 18" by 24" sheet, and there's no way my scanner could scale it down small enough to post on the web (assuming I had a place to post) and still keep the details intact. :p
Anyways, right now, I'm doing a sorta-request of Ixion, the unicorn Aeon from FFX, in charcoal and pastel.
Rondoism for the Day
Relaxing is a GOOD thing.
Rondo's been going full blast down the warpath for some unknown reason, and he's accused everyone and their dog of being a miserable server. >_<; Even me, one of his little favorites. He started his vacation today (yes, today), flying (yes, that means an airplane) to Rhode Island (yes, that means near NYC). Fortunately, yesterday, he cheered up greatly, and promised us servers that if ANYONE tried to steal his plane, he'd give them what for and then some. But he's happy to finally be on vacation. ^-^
FFX Update
OK, so when I'm NOT busy doing ten million other things, I still play FFX. Stomping through the Omega Ruins right now, about to totally trash on Omega Weapon's butt (heh, with Anima at my side, there's no way he can stand up to me--'specially not when Anima's Overdrived! *evil grin*). Auron, Rikku, and Yuna all have their legendary weapons unlocked and powered up; Tidus, Lulu, and Kimahri have their legendary weapons and Crests (no Sigils yet). Wakka I just ignore (poor guy)--I'm sorry, but I STINK at Blitzball worse than I stank at Tetra Master. Oh the painful memeories of the Luca match...*whimpers*
As soon as I am able to make everyone immune to Petrification, Confuse, and Zombie, Sin's gonna be in Trouble! (Mmm, but I can only get in an hour's worth of training each night, from 11pm to midnight...and I wonder why I'm so tired! :p)
Happiness is having Friends!
Whee HEE! Got my letter from Ceeeeeeeeeeera!!! *cheers* So as soon as I get a chance, I'm gonna write back. O, BTW sis (I KNOW you are reading this, heh), I found the lost prayer sheet and Rondo stories...how about that, mmm? I miss you terribly. And all you other lovely goobers, too: (in no real order) Nman, and Shaun, and Shy, and DM, and Janadou, and...*mumbles on for a few minutes*
And my General Manager came back yesterday. *cheers again* And we're friends again! *cheers more* Me n' him got into a bad fight just before he left on vacation, and we never had a chance to make up until he got back. But we didn't bother with that. I just told him: "You know, I actually kinda missed you while you were gone."
"Imagine that," he grinned.
"Did you miss us?"
"All of you."
"Don't lie," I teased him.
"I'm not!" he whined back.
"Good to have you back."
He smiled and nodded. "Good to be back."
I'll say this much--I've definitely been in a better mood since he came back--I guess I really DID miss the goober.
Prayer Update
FINALLY got that update on Mom--she's got several kidney stones, and her kidneys are swelled up as a result. She goes in tomorrow to find out when she gets her operation. Thanks to everyone who prayed!
