Muddled Mud Greener Dirt
Of the dirts here in my hand
Up the gravity the grains prick
For curdled I take your hand
Of some dentation soiling wick

Take some dirt
Rub it in your eyes
Take some hurt
Rub it in your lies

Sandstorm intentional look overland
Rainstorm droughted turn into sand
Blowstorm desisted fall overside I can
Overland pollutioned smoke risen ran

Don't take some hurt
Rub it in your good-byes
Don't take this dirt
Rub it in your cries

Chemically unaltered as the rain falls
Organically altered as the mud growls
It sticks and sticks on your hand
Mud comes as acid drawls

Mud sky he won't turn don't ask why
Courses may change sometimes rain plies
I look at your hand and mud dissects the corner ties
Mud rain pats and she's risked high

Overdosed as the dirt is gone
Mud sticks as death holds brawn
Overdosed, the dirt is gone
Wooden taste as aftertaste utters on

Two imagines weighting the sand
Another try as death's land
But sand turns to mud and it stands

Mud falls hard and don't you know
Far away and the dirt will go low

Whispering in her ear it goes
Everything blurs and the mud closed
Dirt utters in asphyxiation
Aftertastes utter estuation

Falling over the mud catches her under
The mud sky wonders and wonders why
Beyond the horizon the grass is a dirt greener
The mud sky keeps dirt and grime's sleet keener
Falling over the mud catches her encumbered as keeper

The taste is sweeter over the horizon
The dirt grass is greener
Forever wander as the dawn dwindles creeder

I look at your hand and the mud is there
Far off I see mud reality claim her hairs and cares
And I know you'll cry while the mud holds sweeter
I know you'll cry while the grass grows a dirt greener

The mud rains while time holds it all away
Someway the mud breaks and it all sways
Flowers grow and headstones gray
Walking back again where it was greener
The mud rains while your hand is cleaner

Your wary eyes still stray
Her aftertaste defeated her
The taste was sweeter

Those nights of under die in sunder
Somewhere off the mud tainted deeper
The taste was of a tasting sweeter

~~by Mitch, for me.

A little something for Ron
"Somebody else 'round everyone else
You're watching your back like you can't relax
You're tryin' to be cool, you look like a fool to me

Tell me why you gotta go and make things so complicated
I see the way you're
Acting like you're somebody else gets me frustrated
Life's like this, you
You fall and you crawl and you break and you take what you get
and you turn it into
Honestly, you promised me I'd never find you fake it
No, no, no..."
(Complicated)

Take it easy, big guy. You know we care about you.

Mom
...is home. I'm...*sighs*....we'll just have to take this one day at a time, I guess.

That's it, I'm dead
"NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - The vast majority of people say they have been mentally tortured at one point in their lives by a song that keeps repeating itself over and over in their heads.

And new research shows that people most frequently plagued by this phenomenon are those with slightly neurotic tendencies, and people who enjoy and listen to music often.

These mental broken records are also more likely to play the first or last song we hear in different situations, such as the first song that comes on in the morning alarm, or the last song playing before we turn off the car, study findings show.

Songs that topped the list as being most likely to stick around in someone's head included the Baha Men's "Who Let the Dogs Out?" and the Chili's restaurant jingle about Baby Back Ribs."

Ginny doesn't apologize for any neurotic tendencies you may have developed as a result. She asks that you go look for someone to give you a hug and a kiss, and to generally laugh in your face. You can then plant a new neurotic tendency in their brain by humming the following:

"WHO LET THE DOGS OUT? (Ribs ribs ribs ribs)"

Way to go Shaun, you went and gave me your weather! ^^;;;;

I'm not kidding when I say there is a two inch layer of ice--not snow, ice, on everything. Luckily, I got out of work (and wasted my free time, heh), because there was no way in heck I was driving out in that stuff.

I've got to go to work tomorrow. I've already missed for Mom Friday, and bad weather today. I need money! (Though, all things considered, there prolly wouldn't have been that many people out today anyway.)

S.W.A.K.
You know, hugs and "Is there anything I can do?" are some of the greatest things a person can give when someone else is hurting. I've experienced plenty of that. And because of it, I see just how many people care about the wellbeing of myself and my family. It's a wonderful wonderful feeling.

And yet, there seems to be an even more "greatest thing" that I discovered, if that is at all fair to say. kuja, of all people, was the first to implement it in all its innocent helpfulness.

kujaaaron: *kisses your hand*
AuronLuver: *soft smile* Thank you.
kujaaaron: anything for you luver, :p

Now, granted, he and I share an amusing but lighthearted relationship consisting of him "hitting on me" all the time. *hugs her Aaron plushie* (Heh, does wonders for the self esteem, too! ^^;) But the gesture there was just...wow.

Saturday morning, as we were still caught in the worst throes of Mom's analysis and treatment, I remember Dad telling us three (my brothers and I) to be good, and that he loves us. He then knelt over each of us and kissed our heads. I nearly cried again.
See, in our family, we aren't terribly good at sharing emotions, especially not the mushy ones. And to have my stepfather include me as his child, and to give me that meaningful kiss and all...

The thing that really brought this topic to my attention was Ron. He was/is? the only manager who knew what happened, the reason that I had to miss work all day Friday. He wasn't supposed to work today, but he was at Chili's nonetheless. When I was bringing in my Chili'sArt for Shannon, I caught him in the office.
Like everyone else, he asked how I was doing, how was Mom doing, and so on. In addition, he extended his help, shoulder, ear, etc. Then:
Ron: You need a hug, darlin'?
Me: Well, I got an lot of them over the weekend so...
My Brain: Yes yes yes, you big dummy! It'll help you feel better.
Me: ....Ok.
He just wrapped me in this big bear hug, and then he kissed my cheek. Even though I was startled (after all, this is Ron, heh), I just wanted to cry of gratefulness to him.

The thing about these kisses is that they say to me: "I am here for you, and I'll do whatever it takes to keep you from getting hurt anymore by this." Kinda a protective gesture, I guess. I'll never forget them, that's for sure.

And In Other News
I'm still ending this blog. Or putting it on temporary hiatus or something. Don't go throwing a fit on me. ^^; I already have a new blog running (two in fact), and if you've already found both of them, then I am impressed by your skills (or scared by your stalking ability, hee hee hee).

~~please help me to learn from all You teach me, from all the pain I go through, from all the people You gave me.
~~please never let me lose You.
Amen.

Btw to Sara
I'm quite interested to hear where some of these "spiritual gifts a big no no and other ideas" are coming from. Doesn't sound much like the Lutheran doctrine I'm familiar with... Please email me or something.
